Modest family house hidden in the garden as a perfect example of refined geometry and construction.
The ground floor of the building with a rectangular layout and roof in the shape of a ruled surface is characterized by a sophisticated, yet elementary geometry. The
building’s exterior is created from larch planks and waterproof plywood. The rounded entrance wall is tiled with titan-zinc metal roofing and its funnel shape effectively
connects the garden with the interior. Inside, the architects have created a clear functional hierarchy of the space. The common areas have a more representative
character thanks to its higher ceiling. On the other side, in the kid’s rooms the ceiling height is lowered and the space thus gets a more intimate character.
